YOU EMAIL ME
I’ll get back to you as quickly as I can. If it sounds like I can help, we’ll have a quick phone call — or WhatsApp if you’re outside the UK. You explain the problem, we talk it through, and get a feel for each other before anything happens remotely.
You stay on the phone with me throughout the whole process. I’ll talk you through everything I’m doing, and we can chat normally while I work on your computer. You’re never left wondering what’s happening or what I’m doing.
GET YOUR PC REPAIRED
If you choose to move forward, I’ll send you a link to our TeamViewer session, a trusted and widely used remote-support service. You simply tap the link, download a small piece of software, and follow the instructions on screen. You are always in control — you have to authorise me to connect. I can’t simply access your computer without your permission.
YOU WATCH ME REPAIR YOUR COMPUTER
Once connected, you can sit back and watch while I work — and we’ll stay on the phone and chat throughout. I’ll explain what I’m doing as I go, so there are no surprises. Once the original problem is fixed, I’ll ask if there’s anything else you’d like me to check, including security, updates or a general health check of your computer.
THE TRUST JUMP
I understand that letting someone connect to your computer remotely can feel like a bit of a leap of faith. That’s completely understandable.
This is permission-based support, and you remain in control throughout the entire process.
You’ll be there with me on the phone while I work. Before I do anything, I’ll explain what I’m about to do and ask if you’re happy for me to go ahead. You can see what I’m doing, ask questions, and stop me at any point.
There are no hidden actions and no mystery about what’s happening. Once we’re finished, I can even talk you through removing TeamViewer from your computer if you’d like.
It’s not just computer repair — it’s an opportunity to watch, understand and learn what I’m doing, if you want to.
